Choosing the Right Color

Choosing the right color is important, so before we start, you will have to choose your color. If you would like to replicate a color already on your wall, we can use an old can of paint for reference, or we can take a few chips of paint to the store. With the help of some tools, we can also offer color consulting service, if you need help coming to a decision.

Protecting the Work Area

Prior to work, your furniture will have to moved to a safe place, or we will have to cover your items and floor to prevent damage. For this purpose, we use a piece of plastic sheeting and we also protect your floors with drop cloths, taking extra care to secure every inch of your home or business.

Prepare Surfaces

Our painting crew prepares the walls for interior painting by filling any holes or cracks in ceilings and walls, sealing any stains, and scuff sanding any uneven surfaces, including loose or old paint. This creates the smooth, clean canvas necessary for a beautiful finish.

Apply New Paint

After any necessary repairs, we are ready for priming and painting and ensure a uniform finish. We will go over each of your paint options, including satin, matte, eggshell, semi-gloss, high-gloss and will explain the pro’s and con’s of each with you beforehand so you can make a good decision. Time frames will vary depending on the size of the job, but we will always ensure to work as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Clean Up

As a result of toxic paint elements, we may ask you to vacate the house while paint is drying, but this is typically not the case. Drying time will vary, usually from three to five hours. At the end of the drying cycle, we sweep your floors, vacuum your carpets, and place everything back where we found it, while ensuring your property is left spotless.

Walk Through Inspection

Once we have completed our initial inspection, our Site Supervisor will walk you through the space, giving you every opportunity to review our work and provide us with feedback. Its also possible that you may be contacted a later point so that we know how we measured up to your expectations. Our paint work is designed to last many years on well maintained surfaces, so you can enjoy your nicely painted home or office for many years to come.
