What hours do your crews work?

Generally speaking, we work Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. We can do work at other hours, if required, but these are our standard hours.

How long will it take to paint my house?

This depends on a number of factors, but the entire process can take us as little as four to five days, from the point of initial contact. The actual time however, depends on the condition of your paint surfaces, the type of work required, weather conditions, our schedule, if the project requires external work and so on. We can evaluate all of this during our consolation with you and determine an approximate time-frame for completion of your painting project.

Do you charge for estimates?

No. We never charge a fee for this service.

Do you have references?

Yes, and we are pleased to furnish our references, right here on our website. We also have references directly on Facebook and Yelp, just to name a couple of external sources.

How do I maintain my interior paint?

Some areas of the home are more prone to dirt accumulation than others. For instance, hand prints around switches and knobs, splashed in kitchen and bathrooms, marks on walls along the hallway and corridors, soot accumulation above electrical laps and other heat sources. Its important to remove this direct before it’s had a chance to bake into your paint.

Be sure to check these areas once in a while for dirt and assume it will be present near cooking areas. We recommend cleaning with just a mild detergent using a sponge or soft cloth. Use alkaline cleaners sparingly which can dull the sheen or gloss of oil-based paints. Rinse thoroughly to prevent adhesion of cleaner to the paint.

How do I maintain my exterior painting job?

On a semi-annual basis, take a walk around the exterior of your home and look for dry rot, water penetration, cracks and chalking. Typically, once a year, it’s a good idea to pressure wash your home to remove the accumulation of surface dirt.

When do I pay you?

We will typically discuss and outline a payment schedule in our contract. We will invoice you accordingly and will expect to be paid at that time.

What kind of paint do you use?

Our projects are completed using high-quality paints by Sherwin Williams, Benhamin Moore, etc. We can accommodate request to use any brand requested by out customers.

Can I leave my home unattended while your painting crew works?

Yes, many customers we work with are not home while we perform our work. While your busing taking care of your own personal affairs, running errands, etc., out crew will be busy painting. We are licensed and fully insured so there is nothing to worry about.

Are you licesned and insured?

Yes, we have been fully licesned and insured now for many years.

What should I look for when hiring a painter?

There are several key things to look for when choosing a painting contractor. At the very least, check to see if they are licensed, insured, experienced and capable of completing work. Look for reputable companies with local references.

How long does an exterior paint job last?

Generally speaking, most exterior painting work should be redone every five to ten years in order to keep it looking fresh and appealing. Stucco will last longer, wood does expand and contract more with the changing temperatures which loosens paint much sooner.

To help reduce costs, it’s best not to put off painting the exterior of your home till the house is badly peeling. When it gets to that condition, it will end up costing you more in preparation time and dry rot repair work.

When your exterior paint work is in bad condition, go the extra mile to ensure that thorough surface preparation is done. The idea is to create a sound surface for a new coat to adhere to. This does require more time, but your paint work will look much nicer and last much longer.

What should I look for when hiring a contractor?

We recommend checking that they are licensed, insured and capable of completing work.

What if it rains while your painting?

We do pay close attention to the weather and the forecast. If it starts raining while we are in the middle of a painting job, we stop and return at a later time.

Can you paint vinyl siding?

Painting vinyl siding is always an option to consider if you’re looking up sprucing up the exterior of your home. Of course, before painting, we will have to prepare the siding by cleaning, masking windows, doors and trim, then apply primer.

You’ll also want to consider paints that are specifically designed for such an application as well as other factors within your community.

Which paint is most durable?

Durability depends on type of paint and surface. Generally speaking enamel-based and high-gloss paints are generally considered to be the most durable.

Is there a special paint for bathrooms?

Yes. Some paint Is specialty formulated to provide a mildew resistant finish to humid environments, such as bathrooms. When applied correctly, they will also resist mildew growth and will remain washable.
